![]() I can't recommend enough that you upgrade the DOSBox to 0.74 by downloading and installing the latest version then dragging the files into the Dark Forces\Dosbox folder. If you want a borderless fullscreen view, Borderless Gaming will do the job but at the cost of pixel-perfect scaling it can look slightly stretched, blurred, or otherwise messy when playing like this.Īlso, you usually want a scaler. Or, save yourself the fuss and put down "desktop" so that DOSbox does the scaling for you. After that, your window resolution should probably be whatever your desktop is, MINUS the space needed for your taskbar. ![]() No matter what resolution you pick for windowed mode, you still need to set fullscreen to False. Those last two are especially important because they a) work in a more Windows-friendly backend that Steam can hook onto and b) make sure that Steam doesn't accidentally hook onto the console status window. Running it with windowresolution1920x1080 and aspectfalse doesn't fill the screen as the game still corrects itself to a 4:3 when it launches but it is sizable enough to fill a substantial portion of the screen and look good in OBS. First of all, fullscreen might still work if you set aspect correction to false and make output=opengl, then use the command -noconsole.
